Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the Ertejel platform provided by Ertejel ("we", "Ertejel"). By using the platform you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy.

1. Contracting party

You are contracting with Ertejel, the owner and operator of the Ertejel platform and its trademark.

2. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be of legal age in your country, or use the platform with a guardian's permission. If you use the platform on behalf of an entity, you confirm you're authorized to bind it to these terms. Continuing to use the platform constitutes acceptance of these terms and any later updates.

3. Description of the service

Ertejel provides AI-powered tools for training speaking, presentation and improvisation skills in Arabic, including: voice recording, speech-to-text, performance evaluation, challenges, interactive simulations and learning tracks.

4. Account and credentials

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Acceptable and prohibited use

  • Don't use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent or abusive purpose.
  • Don't post content that incites hatred or violence or infringes others' rights.
  • Don't attempt to hack or security-scan the platform, spread malware, or perform automated scraping.
  • Don't infringe anyone's intellectual property rights.
  • You alone are responsible for your inputs (recordings and text) and for how you use the outputs.

6. AI — accuracy notice

AI outputs (analysis, evaluation, suggestions) may contain errors and aren't professional, legal or medical advice. You're responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. We reserve the right to modify content, refuse requests or filter outputs to keep the platform safe.

7. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the platform, its software, interface and trademark belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform within your plan. Any reverse engineering, resale or circumvention of technical limits is prohibited.

8. User content

You remain the owner of your content. You grant us a limited license to process, store and display it to you solely to provide and improve the service.

9. Payments and subscriptions — Merchant of Record disclosure

Purchases are made through our partner Lemon Squeezy LLC. Lemon Squeezy LLC is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment processing, tax calculation, invoicing, order-related customer service and refund requests.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each cycle (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are subject, in addition to our terms, to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms available at lemonsqueezy.com/buyer-terms.

10. Service level and disclaimer of warranties

We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any implied warranties to the extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits or data). Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend your access or terminate your account in case of: a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious violations of our policies. On termination you may export your data within 30 days before it's deleted.

13. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version on this page, and continuing to use the platform constitutes acceptance of the changes.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to your mandatory rights under the law of your country.
